Dr. Kirubaharan Boobalan is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the School of Management, Shiv Nadar University, Chennai, and the Founder & CEO of iGOLDz (https://igoldz.co.in/) — the world’s first technology-driven jewelry manufacturing firm, incubated under SSN iFound, Shiv Nadar University, Chennai.
He completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, where he was awarded the prestigious Institute of Eminence (IoE) Fellowship. Also, he served as a Senior Research Associate (Marketing) at the Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai.
Dr. Kirubaharan earned his Ph.D. in Management from Anna University, Chennai, as a recipient of the distinguished Anna Centenary Research Fellowship (ACRF, 2017). He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, reflecting his strong interdisciplinary foundation. His research has been published in reputed ABDC-listed journals, including the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Food Quality and Preference, and Annals of Operations Research. He also serves as a reviewer for several top-tier international journals.
With expertise in data analytics and quantitative research, Dr. Kirubaharan is proficient in a wide range of statistical tools, programming language, and software, including R programming, Python, AMOS, SPSS, and SmartPLS, particularly in multivariate analysis and structural equation modeling.

About the project: Government of India (TANSIDCO) has proposed to develop a trade facilitation center at Chennapalli village, Soolagiri taluk, Krishnagiri district through PPP mode under the direct supervision of Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The proposed trade facilitation center is to be developed in area of 13.50 acres with estimated worth of 5 crores. A field study has been undertaken with stakeholders in Krishnagiri district to assess the market potential to promote and create infrastructure facilities for conducting industrial exhibitions, trade fairs, seminars, conferences, and workshops.
